Asphalt mixing plant (asphalt concrete mixing equipment) basically work in the open field, and the dust pollution is large. Many components work in the high temperature of 140-160 degrees, and the working time of each shift is as long as 12-14h. Therefore, the equipment daily maintenance is related to the normal operation and service life of the equipment.

Preparation work before start-up of asphalt mixing plant
1) Before starting the machine, the scattered materials near the conveyor belt should be removed;
2) Start with no load first, and wait for the motor to run normally before working with load;
When the equipment is running under load, it is necessary to assign a special person to track and inspect the equipment, observe the operating status of the equipment, see if there are abnormal noises and abnormal phenomena, and whether the exposed instrument display is working normally. If an abnormality is found, the cause should be investigated and eliminated in time.
3) After each shift, the equipment should be inspected and maintained comprehensively;
4) For high temperature moving parts, grease must be changed after each shift;
5) Clean the air filter element and the air-water separator filter element of the air compressor;
6) Check the oil level and quality of the lubricating oil of the air compressor;
7) Check the oil level and oil quality in the reducer;
8) Clean the dust in the dust collector and the debris and waste scattered on the site to keep the site tidy.
9) The problems found during work inspections should be thoroughly eliminated after the shift, and operation records should be made in order to grasp the full use of the equipment.
Maintenance work must have the idea of persistence, as we all know “Rome was not built in a day”.
Maintenance must be done in a timely and appropriate, so as to extend the life of the asphalt mixing plant and maintain its production capacity.

Maintenance work during asphalt mixing plant operation
During production, watch and listen. If abnormal conditions occur, immediately shut down for maintenance, and do not work with faults. When the equipment is running, maintenance and debugging are strictly prohibited.
Special personnel should be arranged to monitor key parts. Make a good reserve of vulnerable parts and study the reasons for their damage. Carefully fill in the operation and operation records, mainly recording what faults and phenomena occur, how to analyze and eliminate them, and how to prevent them. The operation records have a good reference value as first-hand information.
