The structure of the excavator
(1) Engine The engine is generally a four-stroke, water-cooled (or air-cooled), multi-cylinder, direct-injection diesel engine. A few excavators use electronically controlled diesel engines.
(2) Transmission system There are three types of transmission pumps: mechanical transmission type, semi-hydraulic transmission type and full hydraulic transmission type, among which mechanical transmission type and semi-hydraulic transmission type are widely used.
(3) Driving system The driving system of the hydraulic excavator is the supporting part of the whole machine, which bears the entire mass of the machine and the reaction force of the working device, and at the same time enables the excavator to travel for a short distance. According to different structures, the driving system can be divided into two types: crawler type and tire type.
(4)Tracked travel system. It is composed of crawler belt, roller, carrier wheel, driving wheel, guide wheel, tensioning device, walking frame, oil motor, reducer, etc.
The driving system of the hydraulic excavator adopts hydraulic drive. The driving device mainly includes hydraulic motor, reducer and driving wheel, and each track has its own hydraulic motor and reducer.
Since the two hydraulic motors can be operated independently, the left and right tracks of the machine can move forward or backward synchronously, and can also be braked by one track to achieve turning, and can also be driven in the opposite direction by two tracks to achieve in-situ steering, which is very easy to operate. Simple, convenient and flexible.
