There are several types  

1. According to the capacity there can be divided into three type

Small type: the productivity is under 40t/h

Middle type: the productivity is around is 40t/h-400t/h

Large type: the productivity above 400t/h

2. According to the transportation method (migration method), it can be divided into: mobile and fixed.

Mobile Asphalt mixing plant : the bin and mixing pot come with tires, which can be transferred with the construction site, suitable for county and township highways and low-grade highway projects;

Stationary type which is to fix the location of the equipment operation, also known as asphalt concrete processing plant, suitable for centralized engineering and urban road construction.

3. According to the technological process (mixing method), it can be divided into: continuous drum type and intermittent forced type.

Continuous drum type, which is produced by continuous uninterrupted stirring method, the heating and drying of aggregate and the stirring of mixture are carried out continuously in the same drum;

Forced intermittent, the heating and drying of the aggregate and the mixing of the mixture are forced to be carried out periodically. The equipment stirs one pot and one pot separately, each mixing pot takes 45 seconds to 60 seconds, and the output depends on the equipment model.
