Compact Telehandler

Pre-Operational Checks:

Conduct a pre-operational inspection of the telehandler. Check for any visible damage, ensure that all safety features are functioning correctly, inspect tires for proper inflation, and verify that all fluid levels are within the recommended range.

Familiarize Yourself with Controls:

Get acquainted with the control panel and operator controls. Understand how to operate the telescoping boom, tilt the forks, and control other functions such as steering, lifting, and lowering.

Load Capacity and Load Handling:

Know the telehandler's load capacity, and never exceed it. Ensure that loads are properly secured, evenly distributed, and within the specified load center.

Operating on Rough Terrain:

If the compact telehandler is designed for rough terrain, be mindful of the ground conditions. Engage the four-wheel-drive mode if available and use caution on uneven or soft surfaces.

Telescoping Boom Operation:

When extending or retracting the telescoping boom, do so gradually and smoothly. Be aware of your surroundings, especially overhead obstacles, and ensure that the area is clear before extending the boom.
