Asphalt hot mix plant is a type of continuous asphalt mixing plant that produces hot mix asphalt (HMA). Unlike batch plants, where the production of asphalt occurs in discrete batches, hot mix plants operate continuously, allowing for a constant production of asphalt.

Cold Feed Bins: Similar to batch plants, hot mix plants have cold feed bins to store different sizes of aggregates (such as stone, sand, or gravel). The aggregates are then fed into the drying drum.
Drying Drum: Aggregates are heated and dried in a rotating drum. The drum is equipped with a burner system that uses fuel to generate heat. The dried aggregates move through the drum, and the hot gases from the burner system help in the heating process.
Hot Elevator: Once dried, the hot aggregates are lifted by a hot elevator and then sieved through vibrating screens to separate different sizes.
Weighing System: The separated aggregates are then accurately weighed before entering the mixing unit. Precise weighing ensures that the asphalt mix meets the specified requirements.
